Lincoln Park Residence

Queen Anne Townhouse Renovation | Chicago, Illinois

This renovation of a historic Queen Anne townhouse in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood brings together the home’s original architectural character and contemporary living. Original details, including stained glass, intricate woodwork, and the central staircase, were carefully preserved and restored, while the interior was reconfigured to create more open, light-filled spaces.

The new kitchen and dining area introduce a contemporary architectural language, with warm wood finishes and glass partitions providing continuity throughout the renovated interiors. The primary bathroom was enlarged and reimagined with modern fixtures, finishes, and a more spacious layout.

The result is a thoughtful dialogue between old and new, allowing the distinct qualities of each to coexist.
